The International Forum for Environment, Sustainability and Technology (iFOREST) organised a webinar and digital event for the release of their report on ‘Environmental Laws and Climate Legislation in India – A Case For Enacting a Framework Climate Legislation in India’. The report was released by Sri Jairam Ramesh, Member of Parliament at the Rajya Sabha and former Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Abhayraj Naik, co-founder of the ICA, was amongst the eminent panellists who discussed the contentious topic of the need for climate legislation in the country.
